Llanerch-y-medd FC are a team that has been going for many years, and still going strong to this. The team plays its home matches at Tan Parc. We have been a very successful club in recent years having won several cups, trophies and promotions. Significantly, our most successful season was 2013/2014, when we won the treble - the Gwynedd League and two cups to make it one of the most successful seasons in the history of the club.
Following this success, the club won promotion to the Welsh Alliance league, where they performed brilliantly for 4-5 seasons whilst they were members. Since then the club have fallen back into the Gwynedd League but are rebuilding a strong team again with a mix of young and experienced locals keen to take the club back to the level they reached in recent seasons. Llannerch-y-medd CPD is a club that is very close to the community historically and will be for many years to come.
There are currently 7 members on the club committee which includes a Chairman and Treasurer Elwyn Hughes and our Secretary John Jukes who have been involved with the club for many years and have a wealth of experience.
The age of the current squad ranges from 16 to 40 and we train on a weekly basis at Tan Parc through the summer months and then on Plas Arthur 3G Llangefni in the winter when floodlights are needed.
The club in its current form have been established since 2000 although there have been teams in the village going back decades. The current situation means there are very few games being played and there are no events to speak of unfortunately but as soon as we are able, the club will be back up and running at 100%.
